Handcrafted, pressed and shaped in Scotland. The skateboard notice boards are in the Original Bonny shape and are designed to be hung as decorative and functional art.
Finish: Spalted beech. This veneer has fantastic grain. The black lines seen are called 'marbling' and occur when the log starts to spalt and develop mould and fungus. This can happen before or after the tree has died and transforms the unexciting grain of beech into something unique and sought after.
Our skateboard notice boards use 70% less maple and function as 3D skateboard shaped notice or pin boards. The layers of maple that are used in the lamination are ones that do not meet our quality standard for rideable boards. Other wise put to waste we reuse them in the making of these interior pieces of art.
